Default Wedding Scrapbook

I would like to create a wedding album for my stepdaughter. Should all the pages be in the same color family? Her colors are white and lilac. Should I try to keep all the pages in these colors. I would love to see your pages. Thanks for any inputs.

I'm sorry, I don't have any pages to show you as I haven't scrapbooked for a really long time. But if I would make one, I'd probably use white as my background paper, and a lighter and darker shade of lilac added throughout the album (like for mats and embellshments). I think that would make it really elegant and the white will make the pictures stand out and not get lost within the page. Maybe add a little bit of a nice shade of green with your embellishments (swirls or leaves for flowers). I would definitely keep it clean and simple.

Thanks. I love your idea and will incorporate them. The greens will really make it pop and remain elegant which is what I'm striving for.

Yes, I think to make it very timeless and elegant, using the same few shades of cardstock or the same patterns throughout the whole album would look the best. If you pick maybe 2 different shades of background cardstock and then maybe mat all the photos on the same color and then use similar patterns, the same fonts and similar embellishments throughout the whole album, it will look much more cohesive. I love the idea of using green as an accent color, as Ellie suggested. It would look very nice with the white and lilac.

You ladies have given me exactly what I need. I just pulled out my Anna Griffin books and see tons of samples. I am in heaven. Thanks so much.
