I ordered from JoAnn.com 1/4. It is now 2 weeks later and order is still "being processed". The order has not been cancelled due to out of stock (which doesn't show up until days after ordering) just not here. I know there are so many other on-line shopping places and just wanted to share my frustration so others can avoid it if they choose.

Thanks for letting me vent. Oh and I called for the third time this week and was on hold for 15 minutes before just hanging up.

Sorry you are having a problem. I ordered from them for the first time on Sunday, Jan. 7. I ordered the Giga Circle Scalloped punch. I got an email that it shipped on Tuesday Jan 9 and I received it on Wed. Jan 10. This is the one and only time I've ever ordered from them.

I hope you get your order soon.

sorry to hear the delay...I placed an order 1/13...it shipped 1/15 and I got it 1/16...I ordered the BISK, a thick cut die, BS crease pad and a BS extender platform...so I must have lucked out...

Sorry to hear that. I place an order on 1/12 and received it yesterday. They've always been quick for me.

I wonder if they are out of stock and just not communicating with you. ???

I had the same problem as posted above. My order sat for about two weeks. I finally called and got through and was told some of the items were out of stock and they were not sure what was shipping. I finally got an e-mail several days later with a tracking number after the package had been at my house for two days. It was very frustrating.

Thanks for your sympathy girls!! I did just call again and this person seemed a bit more interested and is looking into it within the hour. Hopefully I am just having a bad experience. I'm glad yours have been better.

I have had the same problem with the cuttlebug stuff......but other things I have ordered (the not so popular things ; ) have come in exactly a week which is really great I think.

I just quit ordering "popular" items from them

I am sorry to hear you are having a problem. I had placed an order last Wed for Giga punches and I recieved the order yesterday. Have you tried communicating with them thru email?

I didn't get an out of stock e-mail until the rest of my order had shipped. Frustrating... I wish the site would just state "out of stock" or not have the item showing online if it wasn't available.

I had the same problem, my order took about 2 weeks and one item got cancelled. I *REALLY* wish they would keep better track of what they actually have in stock!! It seems to be a problem alot of people are having!

I didn't find out one of the items I ordered had been canceled until it shipped. I ordered right after Christmas and didn't receive my order for two weeks. I am still trying to get the money put back on my gift card from the canceled order. I am hoping it was just the time of year.

I've always had great service and got my stuff within 3 days...I was beginning to wonder if their warehouse was in my town!!!!

I have been ordering from them for about a year now...and they have never disappointed me I hope you will give them another try...I find out of all the places to shop online...they have always been the best...I order things from other sites, but only when I can't get it from Joann... JMO;)

I would have to say for the most part they are very good, although I was disappointed once back when I ordered some snap stamps from them. I found a call to Customer Service was helpful. If you don't get a good answer the first time, try again and see who you get to help you.

When an item you ordered ends up being out of stock, you should look for a coupon code for your next order.

I order from Joann.com all the time and have had the out-of-stock thing happen only a few times. What frustrates me is that they send out an individual email for each item on the order when it ships, however the subject for the out-of-stock items always says 'ship confirmation'! Hello -- it's not a ship confirmation if you're not shipping it!

However, in the body of the email when they inform that the item is out of stock, they have always provided me with a coupon code for my next order. I think it's usually been 15% off your entire order -- not too shabby!

I'm sorry that you're having a bad experience with them! I hope it's resolved soon...

Grrr ... I have been on the phone with Joann.com for almost 15 minutes now to find out why my order that I returned in NOVEMBER has not been credited to my credit card yet. When I emailed customer support in December, I got a response that said my order had not been received in their warehouse yet ... and then after that it would take 2-3 weeks for a credit to be issued.

This is CRAZY! I mean, it has been a month and a half (at least) since I sent my 50 some dollars worth of returned merchandise back! (And I did use the return address slip printed right from their website for the label on my box.)

Has anyone else had this trouble with getting a return processed from Joann.com?

Still waiting on hold ... :(

If you're still waiting...Heidi/pinkhedgehog said that she never got anyone at CS better than Bridget - so see if you can ask for her.

Good to know, thanks!

I *finally* did get to speak to someone (waited on the phone for a good 40 minutes!) ... and she is going to email the warehouse since she didn't see my order in the system. Hopefully in a few days, my refund will be processed. (Crossing my fingers!)

I am the OP for this thread and I did finally get my order from 1/4. It came the same day as an order that I ordered 10 days later. I spoke with Samantha during my third call and she obviously did take care of the problem. I know it is sooo frustrating. Hope they figure it out soon
