Default SU Question

Can I ask a question please --Does anyone here know why is it that Australia and New Zealand are still not offered all the same products as the USA??? I had been looking through the US catty and could see some punches that I wanted but we have not got them in the NZ catty.
Why is this when SU is huge in Auzzie and NZ ??????
Thought that there might be a SU employee here that could answer this.
Thanks heaps for you help

We're a much smaller market so we're never going to get as many products as the US .. as much as we wish it. :-(

but also, when you look at their catergories in the cattie - some of the sets will not apply to us down here - 4th July, Thanksgiving, Fall. Back to school, etc.
And, we do not, to the same extent, celebrate the same holidays - St Patties, Valentines, Halloween etc

Yes, some holidays are gaining in recognition (Valentines/Halloween) but we do not have
the population to support the product range.

I know when SU came to NZ, the first cattie was a trial so to speak - there were some sets that never sold, and it gave HO an indication of 'our' market.

I am, admittedly, disappointed that there are some sets that we haven't got in the new cattie - build-a-bot, the motorcyle are just 2 that I was hoping to get - I want them! However, I am happy to wait until the mini comes out - maybe then!

We don't have such cool accents so we have to make up for it with having more products in our catty...

In all truth though, I think it's because of our market share and that the U.S. has been the papercrafting mecca for quite some time. As the markets change elsewhere, so likely will the selection.

The best thing you can do is let SU know how you feel. Tell them you would love to see certain things. The Cheers to you set was originally in the England catalog, but we now have it in ours. I remember there being a lot of people interested in it and saying they were contacting SU.
