There are a few great LSS in the area...depending on the amount of time that you are willing to drive...check their directions when you get here and see but here are some of my favorites:
Ink About It = Westford, MA.....great collection of Stamps, paper, embellishments and a great class schedule
Absolutely Everything = Topsfield, MA - like the name says, they have absolutely everything....stamps, paper, embellishments, altered art and a great class schedule
Scrapbooker's Dream = Tewksbury, MA - lots of paper and embellishments....crops and classes
Scrapbook Cupboard = Bridgewater, MA....not been there but seems like a good selection and good class schedule.
There are a bunch more, but I haven't been to them....More in NH too! Spend enough time and $$ in these and enjoy every minute of it!
Suggest looking at their websites, their blogs and sign up for their newsletters, to see what they are each like and what's going on.
They also run "Shop Hops" - an event that you get a discount in each of the participating stores...1 just finished. Prizes and fun!
Hierloom Productions will be holding their convention in Springfield, MA coming up in June, I think.
Anyway....plenty of wonderful places!
Welcome! and good luck! Happy shopping!

Welcome to Mass. A couple of stores you might want to check out are:
Ink About It - Westford, MA
Absolutely Everything - Topsfield, MA
Scrapbooker's Dream - Tewksbury, MA
The Crop Shop - Rockland, MA
The Stamp Act - Marshfield, MA
Right at Home Scrapbooking - Attleboro, MA
Colorful Creations - Hyannis, MA
They all have websites and I appologize for not having the link. I've been in all of them (except Colorful Creations-not yet anyway LOL) and they all have their pros & cons. But everyone is definetly worth the stop.
PM if you have any other questions about the Boston area.
Welcome to MA......you won't be too far from me. I live in Newton.
I think all the ones that I can think of have been mentioned. The ones that have actually been to are:
Ink about It - great store and great selection of Amuse stamps, not alot of clear stamps
The Crop Shop - Just got back from there a few hours ago. Only had small selection of stamps, mostly clear ones. They have a lot of DP, rubons, embellishments.
The Scrapbook Cupboard. Not too impressed with this one, I think a lot of stuff they order it if you ask. They did have a handful of Bellas, Riley and MFT, other than that nothing really unique
Welcome to beautiful New England!!! I'm a demo too, but I don't discriminate!
Ink About it is great, lots and lots of stuff.
If you find yourself in Manchester NH, try The Paper Tree. The owner is just wonderful. She does a great job choosing what she sells, super helpful too. She carries a lot of A Muse, among lots of others. She has a great variety! There is a good mix of wood and clear stamps and COPICS!
I hear there is a REALLY neat store up in Laconia, but that is a drive for both of us. I'd like to stop in this Spring.
Here is a thread where Boston stores are discussed. I posted a map on Comment #33 of some stores. Just be aware a few may have closed.
Good luck on your move and welcome to MA!
Great thread! Do any of you gals ever get together to scrap/stamp? I would love to meet some fellow stampers since none of my friends are really into it.
What fun to have a stamper move into my little town! The places previously mentioned are wonderful!! If you ever need help finding them (or a crazy person to come along and spend her money), get in touch with me!!!
Hugs, Neighbor!!
Anne.

I've been to Colorful Creations and Ink About It to teach classes! They are AWESOME stores! And, the owners and staffs at both are also wonderful!!!
And, if you get out to Manchester, NH, the Paper Tree and Michelle, the owner, are absolutely delightful, too!
So fun!

I was visiting family at Christmas this past year and did a mini-scrapbooking store tour during a major snowstorm! It was a total blast!
I'll say that Absolutely Everything in Tewksbury was awesome - I went to scrapbook there to get away from the in-laws along with hopes to finish acrylic scrapbook christmas gifts for the nieces. They had a crop that evening which wasn't full and since I had been there since opening they let me stay (probably helped that I had spent about $50 bucks already)... They definitely had some items I had not seen before along with different gauges of acrylic for my acrylic albums.
I also visited two shops in New Hampshire that I loved but can't remember their names.
Finally, on our way back to North Carolina, we stopped at Right At Home on the recommendation of a friend that used to be an employee of the store before relocating to NC. Loved the store as well and got a kick-out of a random meeting with the same friend that recommended the store!

Next visit to MA will be the end of July to visit DH's family along with celebrating his 40th!
