Question Stamping with Acrylic Paints

Any tips for newbie wanting to stamp (using Stampin Up Wild Rose) on my walls using acrylic paints? I spent a alot of time (and money for a laser level) to get stripes on my wall and I'm real nervous about stamping the roses!! The walls are pale yellow with wide pale green stripes. All I have are the instructions that came with the stamps. I'd love any advice that could save me from myself!!

Thanks!!

Practice your touch on a piece of cardboard or drywall before you head to your walls. Also, use a foam brush to apply the paint to the stamp, otherwise, you will get way too much paint on your stamp. I have stamped parts of walls (above the closets) in 2 of my rooms...I, too was aprehensive, but it really was easy. And, have a damp cloth with you. If you don't like the results, you can wipe it off and try again. Good luck, please post pics when you've finished....it sounds BEAUTIFUL!!!
