Question Spring Take Ten Question

On a whim I decided to submit some cards to Take Ten. I noticed on another thread that someone said they had been published in the Spring Take Ten. I'm just curious, would I have gotten a complimentary copy already if I made it in? Or is there still hope? LOL I had forgotten about it until today and now I just want to know!

I have been published with Take Ten and have never received my comp. mag until well after many others have mentioned receiving it. (I think it partly depends on what part of the country you live in, etc.) My copies have also been sent to the wrong address, etc, so I generally call after I see it at Barnes & Noble and know that I have been published in it. They are always nice about sending another copy if needed. I refuse to buy it in the store if I'm getting a copy in the mail for free!

it can really be hit or miss...I suggest you look at one when it's in the store and see if you can find your artwork...if it's in there and you still haven't gotten a copy you can request a copy and they are very good about mailing you one. I got my Spring Take Ten complimentary issue about 10 days ago. :(

I'm definitely not holding my breath. It is the first time I have ever submitted for publication so I would be surprised if I got in on the first try. Congrats to you though for getting published! I can't wait to see the Spring issue... for those who have it already, is it a good one?

I got in on my first try!

I actually got in 2 issues of Take Ten and 1 issue of Stamper's Sampler with just that one set of cards I sent, so don't rule yourself out just because it's the first time you've sent something in!!

I found out the first time because someone called me and told me I had 2 cards in that issue. I didn't know a thng about it! So I called Somerset Studios and they made sure I got my free issue. At $15.00 a pop I was going to make sure I got my free one!!

So don't give up yet!! Sometimes they won't use things for a few issues. My Stamper's Sampler one was months later!

Happy stampin!
