Default spirits and turp. sub????

Okay, I want to try the Gamsol technique.... so I look everywhere but can't find any. However, I did find odorless Turpenoid. It's a turpentine substitute. So my question is... will this work? I know Gamsol is mineral spirits. What's the difference between min. spirits and turpentine??? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks,
Sencie

Hi Sencie,

I also bought the Terpenoid but haven't tried it yet :( I'll be interested in hearing what the differences, if any, are though

I also use turpenoid and crayola pencils. I love the look. Just wish my brother who was an art student had given me some of these tips ;)

Yeah! I'm glad to hear the turpenoid works!
Has anyone tried it with the SU pure color pencils?
I have crayola and some prisma colors, but it would be great if it worked with the pure color as well.
Thanks everyone!
Sencie
