I've met some wonderful people here at SCS since I joined and I have to say a woman I met on here who lives states away from me and we've never met in person, has become one of my dearest friends over the past 3 years. I really love coming here for the inspiration and friendship.
3 years ago a SCS member put out a request on here to start a pen pal group and I joined and its been wonderful. The request was so well received that the list grew to over 125 people. It was kind of overwhelming but I did meet a fantastic group of ladies. The list has dwindled down tremendously over the 3 yrs and I still keep in touch with a few of them but not on a regular basis like before
So I was thinking of putting out a request too....
I would like to find
4 ladies to join me in a card/pen pal group. The reason I chose 4 is because its not an overwhelming number to make in cards every month or the cost of postage.
What I would like to do is this...
In this group each person would send one card a month with a letter (remember letters before emails and texts lol ) to each of the 4 women so we can really get to know each other, share things about our crafting or whatever you want to share. I'm really looking for people that are willing to commit to do this monthly.
The reason I posted this under general stamping and not the card swaps or groups forum is because there is no group formed yet LOL and I want it to be more than a card swap. I want to share our creativity but really get to know each other too.
So if you're interested send me a pm. I hope there are some other ladies that are as excited about this as I am. Thanks for taking the time to read through my post
