So I am making my christmas cards and i am new to the whole embossing field. I am looking for something that would make my snowflake stamps really pop. any suggestions?

You could use embossing, stickles/glitter, pearl-ex, really any number of things. Personally I like the versamark resist. Stamp the snowflakes on glossy cardstock with versamark, let them dry for a few seconds, then brayer over with a dark (navy works well) dye ink. They pop beautifully! Also if you do a gallery search for "snowflakes" I'm sure you'll find dozens of samples that'll wow you. Good luck, and please post your final results!
