Default Shredding Cardstock?

Hi!

I am making centerpieces for a military ball function and I would like to shred some of my only orange CS to place in the bottom of the glass vases that are going to be holding some flowers, has anyone used CS in this way and do you have any suggestions on the easiest way to do this? Thanks for any helpful suggestions!

I would think it would be too stiff. I'd try to find tissue paper to shred.

I tried it and the cardstock is too stiff to look good. My suggestion is if you have a brayer touse your only orange ink pad and ink up copy paper both sides and then shred that for the color. Good luck!

Don't they have some orange shreddy stuff at the dollar store or Mikes. I'd hate to waste my SU CS. I would use an off brand or tissue paper in the "office style" shredder (we keep a little one for bill shredding at my house or you may have access to a bigger one at an office).

Couldn't you try to find some of that orange shredded stuff you put in Easter Baskets - maybe that would work... and its really cheap...

If you really want to try it, I'd run it through a paper crimper first. That would make it look a bit more interesting.
