Default Shopping Advice!!

Hi all!

I've been pretty limited in the stamps that I've looked at: Mainly just SU! and my local store. I know that there are sooo many great companies out there, but I don't know where to start!

I'm looking for a stamp set to use for invitations to a Tiki themed party

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If it's for an adult party, www.thecatspajamasrs.com has some tiki drink stamps under the food & beverage section.

Sideshow Stamps has some pretty retro/funky tiki-themed stamps. Here's a page I found:

Talking RE:Shopping advice

I have noticed that Oriental Trading Company is now really expanding what they carry in stamping and scrapbooking items. Check out www.orientaltrading.com and check under stamps for a Luau Wood mounted rubber stamp set. Looks kinda fun for 14.95. Good luck! Have a great party!!!! Can you say MAI-TAI!!!

Thanks for the great links!

It's for a family party that will probably evolve into an adult party as the night goes on!

Last year I ended up needing to make 50 invites. DH is planning on inviting more people this year. So I'm looking for something that is relatively simple. The party's not until Sept. but I learned that I need to start looking early!

Wink RE: Starting Early!!!

I am also starting early this year on my Christmas cards. I always feel soooo pressured because I think I have an idea and usually ends up falling to the way side. Then come up with another idea and order the supplies, and make time(that at X-mas is short already) and get them signed, sealed and delivered, usually by the seat of my Levis'. Good Luck with the party, sounds like a great time for everyone! Keep 'em stampin, and they'll be happy doggies!!!

Default Re: Tiki Stamps

Try Googling [rubber stamp hawaii] or [rubber stamp tiki]. You will find a whole other world of stamps & perhaps one that will be perfect for your invitations. Watch for Rubber Stamp Plantation, Mari & Me, Stamp Yourself Silly. I know Stamp Oasis has one but their website is being redone & still is under construction.
