If I won a cruise as a demo, I'd be on it like white on rice.
However, I find that theme cruises, including scrapbooking ones, tend to be way overpriced. So for me- I'd go on a cruise on my own, and use the savings of the price to buy lots of new stamps!
My SU demo went and she had a wonderful time!
She met Carol Duvall, Dee Grunig (hope I spelled that right), the gal from Hot Potatoe and many more.
She would say it is well worth your money and got some great goodies for stamping included in the price!
I haven't been but I've seen them advertised in Papercrafts, I kept saying to Hubby how I'd love to go on one, wouldn't get much of a suntan though and my Cricut would have to follow me in the suitcase!!!
I've often thought what you would do on one of those cruises and decided that if I am going to be on a cruise that I want to be doing cruise stuff. How much time would you really be doing crafts and how much pool time would you miss out on. I think that I'd rather go to a huge scrapbook weekend like the one CK does for $350. Becuase there you really are getting down to business. I suppose if I were wealthy that I do it as pure luxury because I'd probably be cruising often anyways.
We're going on a cruise in August and the ship we're on is the largest in the world. I'll be too busy to even think about much other that how close I am to a bar and where the biggest umbrella is. 4 out of 7 days we'll be in Haiti, Mexico, Jamaica and Grand Cayman. The other days I'll be enjoying too much food and the kids camp services!!
