I agree with you. None of the sets really caught my attention.
I really don't have many stamps and was looking forward to finally purchasing more soon. i was thinking this would be a good time with all I have heard about sale a bration, but nothing in that catty looked interesting to me at all...
:( Guess I will stick to getting older sets off ebay or buy from other companies. It might help me to stick to the budget I had too. Guess that is a good thing.
*wipes brow* whewwwwwwwwwww I am so glad it wasn't just me. Usually SAB I LURVEEEEEEEEEE the stamps.. This time it just does not blow me skirt up.. But on the other hand it saves me in spending 9 gazillion dollars to get all the stamps in there
Kellybee, this year in Canada it is $60 ... so less than last year, which is nice. However, nothing in the SAB catalogue catches my eye. Very very disappointed.
good, isn't just me either. I really don't like any of the stamps sets. The paper is what I will probably get, as you can never have too much paper. I didn't look closely, but did any of the stamps cordinate with the paper? If that is the case I might have to get that just to go with it, but we shall see

at first blush, i have to agree with many who've posted - nothing really GRABS me. however, i know once i start seeing samples in the gallery and on the blogs, i'm sure there will be a set or two that are must haves. unfortunately for me, it happens too often
I did not see anything I MUST have either, bummer. I usually want all of them. Oh well, like a couple of posters said, it will keep me from spending so much.

Thanks for the info. I'm a bit disappointed in the choices too - especially since the introduction talks about the great selection for the 20th anniversary but it's all in the eye of the beholder...
I'm starting to drift away from SU other than the cardstock and inks...
I felt really disappointed too. And unfortunately I have a party setup for Feb 3rd. How in heck am I going to convince my friends that they should buy more to earn stamps that are BORING!!!
Ok, I'm going to go cry in my little corner of the world . . . . .

The Yummy set is sitting on my dining room table. I'm going to crack it open this afternoon to make some SAB swap cards for a meeting I'm going to at the end of January.
It's a set of three stamps, but I think that I'm going to cut one of them apart so that the swirl is separate from the "something for you" part.

I thought a couple sets were cute, but what I really liked was the little teaching pages. This will be my first caddy since giving up my demoship... it will be interesting to look as a customer again. I put way too many limits on myself as a demo. Sucked the cretivity right out of me.
