Default Ribbon Fasteners

Okay you know the cool little ribbon fasteners that come in our hardware kit? ( the ones with rings and the other side is flat with a hole for a brad)

Does anyone know where else we can buy these things?

Look at paperwishes.com
I just ordered some. Not sure if you can use a brad with it though. I will have to doublecheck.
Good luck

Are you talking about the D rings? I've looked lots of places and never found anything similar. Framing supplies sell silver ones but they are pretty rough looking. I'd be interested to know as well.

I buy D rings at the hardware store. They're pretty cheap and look pretty decent!

Wish my Joannes did.......they aren't a very good store in my town. Were they in with the scrapbook stuff or elsewhere?

This is my favorite piece in this hardware set! I too, was searching, searching, searching! Not at my JoAnn's...

But I DID find them at http://www.boxerscrapbooks.com/tiebacks.htm
They call them tie-backs. They are spendy, I think, at $1 for 2.

I am still looking for a better deal - especially at framing supply shops. They are normally used for picture hanging, but they only seem to have the triangle shaped ones, not the nice d-shaped ones.

Good luck! I'll watch this forum because I want to find a cheaper source!

Try www.paperwishes.com. They call them Metal Fasteners Item #AM726839
$3.49 for 24 of them. I am looking at a Fall 2006 catalog so the price may have changed since then.

They have a couple of different sizes and the smaller ones seem to be pretty much exact. They have them in the silver finish and brass.

CTMH also sells those in their catalogue.
That is where I bought mine.
They are called Photos hangers, and come in a set with 6 colours: gold, silver, pewter, copper, black and white (8 hangers/brads in each colour).
I used them here in this card today if you want to see them.

HTH!
I am a huge SU fan, but I really love the CTMH photo hangers. You get 48 photo hangers and the matching brads for about $15. They also have matching hinges(for coaster frames) and Bigger Brads. I like that they have six colors in a set.
