Question Removing permanent ink stains

Has anyone had any luck removing permanent black ink (memento tuxedo black in my case) from white clothing? Thanks!

I would try this: Best Cleaner Ever Description Page

Here's a blog post about ink on fabric: ScraPerfect: The Best Cleaner Ever vs. Archival Ink

I'm not affiliated, just use it

Don't know how this would work with Memento Ink but I have always used hairspray to remove permanent inks from clothing. Here's a short article that may be helpful.

I use hairspray too ( the cheap ones seem to work best). Another tip is to blot from the reverse side so that you are pushing the stain out of the fabric instead pushing the ink into the fibers.

Also, do NOT dry it until you are sure the stain is completely removed or you have given up on the garment.

Good luck!

Thanks for the ideas and links, everyone! I have tried six or seven different things so far including hairspray, pushing the stain outwards and not drying it, but it is still there. I have two more substances to try, and then I'll order The Best Cleaner Ever because this wasn't the first time I got ink on my clothes, and it won't be the last!

I use hairspray and then put electric dish detergent (the liquid kind) on the permanent ink stain and it all came out. But it was on a cotton blouse so it might be the different material t that determines how hard the stain is to get out.

I once had good luck removing black ink from khaki pants (think, dropped the ink pad and caught it between my legs so it wouldn't get on the carpet - BIG ink splotches) with Goo Gone. I keep it in the laundry room for grease stains, but after trying hairspray and rubbing alcohol and I don't remember what all else, the Goo Gone took care of it.
