Has anyone found and purchased this product? The Essential Glue Pad by Tsukineko (the makers of VersaMark, Staz-On). I went to there website and there is a message stating that it has not yet been released, but earlier this week I was completing a survey for Creating Keepsakes and it was a featured item in the survey. I really want to try this product, but I can't seem to find it. Well, I'm off for some serious Craft Store trotting this morning. Have a great Stamping Day Ladies!
I too am anxiously awaiting the release of this product. I heard from someone that there were "technical difficulties" and the release was being postponed.
It's the strangest thing because it's advertised in a lot of the current magazines and yet not available.
Maybe it's just a hype to get the demand going before it's released?
ok, please someone 'splain what this product does? stamp your image in glue so you can glitter it?

I am quoting "what it does" from the TAC catty.
"The Essential Glue Pad is a clear, heat free adhesive for all your creative needs - without the use of a heat gun! This pad is perfect for pearlescent poweders, chalks, metallic foils, ultra-fine glitter and more. Just stamp, daub or apply a light layer of glue to your project and apply your embellishments. It's that easy"
What is TAC? How can I get a TAC catalog? I realllllllllllllly want that pad. I did some serious craft store hopping this morning and I couldn't find it.
I thought I had this product.. I have something like it anyway, I guess I don't know what the name is.. The one I have works great! Now I have to keep an eye out for this one!
My advice is to contact Tsukineko and ask them where you can get it in your state. I was looking for Tack N Peel (which I love for unmounted stamping!) and the VP of Sales and Marketing contacted me herself, gave me the information and I was able to order. Check their website www.tsukineko.com and I think there is a blurb about the essential glue pad. Was highly rated in Scrapbook Answers (or one of the other mags!).
There is another one out there I just saw last week, a friend has one and i saw it at a scrapbooking store......it's an ink company that starts with an S.....Superior Ink I think...it's oval and the pad is like an airy looking sponge pad, the sponge seems to be translucent white to hold the glue. She hadn't used it yet......

You have to heat the Pallette Stamp and Stick Glue Pad. It works fine. I got mine from Hobby Lobby. Weird, because it's the only Pallette ink they sell.
I also tried to order The Essential Glue Pad this week from my TAC friend. TAC is not currently selling them. The maker is having issues with it. Hopefully they'll figure it out. Sounds like a great product!
I have to admit that "sparkly" things really catch my eye. Yep, I'm attracted to shiny objects. I think I would put glitter on everything if I could...and with this new pad coming out (when will I see it in the stores?) I can see glitter everywhere.

Me too! I love glitter and bling ... I try to work it into EVERYthing! Kinda cazy!! ha ha ...
Question - does this glue act like a sealer too? So for Pearl Ex Powders is that all you need (you know how they'll kind rub off ... usually you have to seal 'em with hairpray or something like that). Anybody know?
