Default problems w/ vanilla craft pad?

i just got mine and it is so dry. i had to press really hard a bunch of times to get a little bit of ink on the stamp, and then when i stamped it it was all uneven cuz i couldn't get enough ink on it.

should i exchange it or just order the reinker? the other craft pads are TOO inky, this one has almost no ink. are they all like that?

Default Problems with vanilla craft pad

I saw your post and had to run right over and open my much sought after vanilla craft pad which just arrived today and mine is also DRY AS A BONE!!! I just emailed demonstrator support and will post back when I get a reply. I know they will make it right, they always have in the past, but I was going to reward myself tonite by playing with my new vanilla pad, oh well, there are worse things. Better get back to my stamping, I have a deadline! Di

Guess they got overzealous in their attempts to avoid the mondo juicy, drippy white craft pad problem!

I never even noticed that there was a vanilla ink pad. Duh!!! I did not even catch that. Sorry to hear that they aren't juicy enough.

Oh no! I just ordered mine! Please let us know how they are resolving this. I'm sure they won't have it corrected before mine ships so I'll just prepare myself now.

Thanks!

I received my vanilla craft pad last week and it is just right, not too juicy not too dry. Maybe there was a bad batch. I just wanted to ease the minds of others who haven't received theirs yet.

Default Vanilla pad

I just received mine and it looks perfect. Just a bad batch must have gone through. At least SU! is willing to send the refills or exchange it though! Unlike the HORRIBLE Color Caddy. A little too pricey for what you get.

i just called ds, and they are sending me another pad, but i don't have to bother returning my original pad since it's such a small item to ship back, it wouldn't be worth it she said. i hope my new one isn't dry also! but i asked her if they would check the new pad before they sent it and she said yes.

Default Vanilla Craft Pad

SU! once replaced all of my craft pads because of this problem and they actually checked them all for me by stamping a chart with all the colors to make sure they were right...pretty awesome!
