POLL SURVEY on Eyelet setters.please help me decide which one is best.
I have been thru this 3 times now asking and checking out all differant kinds of eyelet setters that would best suit me and how I would like to use it.I want something that is easy somewhat quiet. and with little or no effort.also something that can get in the middle of a 8 1/2 x 11 page or 12x12 page if I need to get an eyelet in the center.not all eyelet setters can do this so I am taking a poll on which one you like the best.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first, only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
I think the Crop A Dile is awesome and you can buy it at HL with a 40% off coupon but you can't reach into the middle of the page with it. I kept my old tools for that because it's not something I do that often.

As far as I know, there is only one eyelet setter that is quiet AND has a long reach AND sets eyelets as attractively on the back as they are on the front -- the Home Pro LR (Long Reach) eyelet punch and setter. It takes very little effort (great for me because I have carpal tunnel) and it has a 6" reach, so you can use it in the middle of a scrapbook page. It sets four sizes of eyelets, from teensy to 1/4" and also does about a million other tasks -- sets metal corners, punches holes, sets nailheads, rivets, rhinestones and two-part snaps. That versatility makes it the best one on the market, IMHO. I have three other setters: Clik-it, Silent Setter and Crop-a-Dile, and while they all have good features, they don't compare to the Home Pro. All three of those setters split the eyelets on the back instead of "curling" them like the Home Pro, and the Click-it is NOT quiet. The Crop-a-Dile is my favorite of those three, but it has a limited reach. I love using the Crop-a-Dile to punch holes. It is really handy for punching holes in altered book covers and metal.
I have the SU setter, Making memories setter kit, and the provo craft silent setter....but honestly every time I reach for the silent pliers type setter that is sold in the Paper Wishes catalog. In one squeeze you have an eyelet set and the back of the eyelet isn't all mashed and wrecked. This is the best one on the market IMHO. ;)

i really like my clickit...got it from joanns when they had a 50% off coupon (online) ....i choose it because you can get other tips for it that will emboss metal and such...its just really versitile and you can twist the top for a firmer or softer set. whichever you get i'm sure you'll love it!

I love my silent setter! I have a 3 yo ds, and I scrap/stamp at night when he's sleeping, so that one really works out well for me. It's easy to use (except for with making memories eyeletes), and easy to take along. HTH
I have a Silent Setter and a Cropadile. I love them both, but I'm just so happy that I got the Cropadile! It's so easy to use. I was absolutely amazed by it actually. The Silent Setter is good too, but it does require a little bit of upper body strength.
I just got the Cropadile and I think it's pretty good (wasn't sure at first). Quiet, easy to squeeze, punches a hole in a thick pad of paper with ease. HTH, Nancy
