Did you stamp on the SU Linen Album Covers yet? If so, would you post a picture here?
I'm making a 6x6 (Natural) Baby Album for a friend by the end of this month & plan to decorate the cover.
So far my grand idea consists of casing from the bottom of pg 204 (where the albums are shown). Since they aren't finding out the sex of the baby, I was just going to stamp "Baby" in the hodgepodge frame & then the initial of their last name beside it.
However, I'd really like some other fabulous ideas.....if there are some out there for the sharin'. I just CAN NOT mess this up & I must admit I'm very apprehsive about that!!
I'd like to see them too! And when you stam on them do you use our craft inks or acrylic paint?

Here you go, it's not a baby album, but it will give you an idea.It is very simple to do. Just put a book inside of it to make it level when you stamp, otherwise it will wobble and be on an angle.I stacked 2 magazines inside to get mine level. Use craft ink or chalk ink and heat set for longevity of the color. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I just finished completing (well, except for journalling!) an entire 6 x 6 album that came with my demo kit!I'm exhausted! But what I did was use the Simply Scrappin Summer Sketches kit to decorate the front cover. I took the sticker of the boy building a sandcastle, mounted it on a mellow moss mat, and tied hemp on the left side of it. I used mini glue dots to secure the bow of the hemp to the sticker and to adhere the whole square to the front. I used an aluminum square tage on the inside cover to write in the words "Newfound Lake, Bridgewater N.H., Aug 6-13, 2005" as an intro to the book. I tried to use elements of the kit througout....
then I got adventurous and wanted to stamp the inside back cover using the same boy building the sandcastle using Staz-On....but alas, I didn't press firmly enough and ended up with a crappy image....BUT, I ended up stamping Staz-On using a piece of the designer paper that comes with the kit (looks like swirly sand) and mounted that on mellow moss and adhered that over my mistake!
I think the album is adorable! I will have to take pics soon!
