I placed my first Papertrey order a couple weeks ago. My goodies arrived quickly and they were packaged so beautifully. I was stunned at the the quality of the products I received! Beautiful products indeed!
I love the PTI products! They ship so fast!! I ordered Saturday night and got my shipment this afternoon. Better quit typing and go use those stamps....
I LOVE their stamps--and love the Pallette ink, too. I just ordered my 2 Nestabilities sets that I had wanted for the past several months (that everyone has been out of)--hopefully they'll be here in the next day or so, because I have big plans for them!

I just got my first order from them yesterday. I couldn't believe how gorgeously it is all packaged. Simply elegant. Simply stunning. While I haven't stamped with them yet, I am looking forward to it and can see why people rave so much.....just from the care in the packaging alone!

You might not have "conditioned" them correctly because they take the Classic SU! inks BEAUTIFULLY! It's one of the main reasons that I love PTI! You need to take a high quality eraser (not a pink one!) and rub them all over the stamps to get the "residue" from their manufacturing process off. If you've done that, than there is really no other reason that the stamps shouldn't be accepting SU!'s inks. They are the BEST!

That is interesting because I got an order today and I tried stamping it w/their palette ink and it was mushy-kind of hard to describe. So I used SU ink and they came out perfect! I wonder what the deal is.
Anyway, I got a $60 order today! PP in Berry Blush and it is so pretty. I got some solid papers of their special colors, inks and ribbons as well. I love it all and want to put it all next to me in bed. ha ha
I am in love with their new 2 pink colors from this month's release. They are even "yummier" in person than online! And Nichole and her gang are the best to do business with! LOVE PTI!!

Very curious, what do you mean by a high quality eraser? Can you be more specific about what type or brand? Thanks!
My order came in just 5 days from the day I ordered. Way to go PTI!
I used a clear plastic type eraser that was in the prismacolor pencil section at Mikes. I think it worked fine and I hope that is a good one to use.
I LOVE my PTI stamps and ribbon and cardstock and patterned paper and ink and............well you get the idea! The above posters are right you do have to *season* them a bit to get a good image but once they are seasoned they stamp beautifully!
Oh and I just love the care taken into packaging them! Last release I ordered Friday night at midnight and got my order on WEDNESDAY!

So seasoning like oregano and salt and peppah, or what? I am serious, I have used their stamps with no troubles, just popped out of the holder and stamped away. What do you use to season them?
I rub an eraser on mine to 'season' them or just rub them on my pants leg ot scrub them really good on my stamp scrub with ultra clean. It just kinda takes off the manufacturing, for lack of a better term, goo, that might still be left on the stamps a bit. I've just found that doing that helps my stamps take the ink better.
Not sure of the exact ship date for the anniversary set but it should be soon. Rick is on vacation this week and he is in the process of confirming everyone's addresses who earned the set. They will surely post something on the PTI forum when they begin shipping the sets.
As for seasoning, I have never rubbed an eraser on my PTI stamps just cause I am lazy. Instead I stamp the image a few times on scrap paper until I feel I get a good image from SU! ink. I have almost all the sets and have never had even one problem with them with any ink, I even use markers on some of my more "seasoned" stamps.
I got my box of all the new goodies yesterday. I so love the new pink colors...the ribbons are so yummy. I have not opened the prints paper to look at it yet but my fingers are itching.....I got the new inks, refills, papers, ribbons and print papers...in all 4 of the newest colors. Should make some very beautiful cards....I hope all of you love your stuff too.
PTI is a great company. I ordered the friday night they were releasing the new colors and got them the next wednesday. And you are all so right. They pack it so well.
Al thought the sheet of paper that comes with the stamps says that you need to condition it by rubbing with eraser. I have not done that at all and they work fine. I just ink them and stamp them on a scrap paper a few times and then I am good to go
This time I ordered the Faux Ribbon set and it is sooooo coool. It is so versatile. It bends and conforms to any shape and it is just awesome.
Whoever has ordered recently, you will have lots of fun. Last time when they released the spring moss and aqua mist, I just ordered the paper and two ribbon and felt missed out. So, this time I ordered the whole set.
Thanks!

I made out a list of all of the sets I want to get from PapetreyInk. I have yet to make my 1st order because I know I will be committing myself to purchase from PapertreyInk at the minimum, once a month. I am really trying to budget myself and have been doing a good job thus far, I do have my 1st order in my cart just waiting for me to push that last button.

I use a Pentel Hi-Polymer white eraser I bought at Wal-Mart to condition the stamps. All the ribbon rolls are 5 yards and for the quality, a great price at $3! EVERYTHING you buy from them is Top-notch quality!
I just received my first order today. I ordered on Monday. I got the whole set of oval nestabilities and 2 stamp sets. I am using the nestabilities to make my daughter's wedding favors. I am very impressed with the speed of the shipping.
I have used a red eraser on my clear stamps and my rubber stamps and it works just fine. After I erase them, I wash and dry them and then they are good to go.
No problems.
I received my order yesterday! OMG it is wonderful! The stamps & the packaging are awesome and I can't wait to use the cardstock! I have already placed another order for the new paper & ribbon! This stuff is great!
I truly believe the CS can't be beat. SU has a nice variety of colors that are beautiful, and the quality is good, too, but I really am into the PTI CS now. I really look forward to their next CS installment!
