Papercraft Inspirations (UK Mag) - questions
I received an email today from Helen Self of Papercraft Inspirations - a UK based magazine.
They want to publish one of my cards (I did not submit any cards, she found it while browsing). The issue would be in stores April 11.
I guess I'm just very skeptical (probably because I'm also very gullible - I know that doesn't seem to go together, but that's me). How could they get a magazine printed and in stores in just a few weeks?
It does sound fast but I just tried Googling "Helen Self papercraft inspirations" to check it out and found this blog post in the first few hits - same experience but back in November and she has a pic of the mag she was published in on her blog post. I guess if it's a regular feature so the space is "ready planned" and they're using your photography rather than having you send the project then it's doable.
LOL, I just googled too and found the same. I'm pretty sure I recognise the name, too, from when PI interviewed me for a feature some years back. But all my old emails are archived, and I can't check for sure. Could even be back in my Pegasus archives, and they're tricky to search. Way to go, Karen.
