I haven't seen any comments on the new wheel guide. Who has bought it? What do you think? I got mine the other day and I was skeptical but I think it works great now that I've tried it! Straight lines every time :!:
I am doing my first workshop on Sat. and I am going to demo it.
I love new toys
I want one of those things but I only have two wheels and I always forget about it when I'm ordering. Maybe I will wait till I get a few more wheels before I buy that thing. I have been using the side of my cutter but I know that guide will be around for awhile so I will get it some time.
I made a little card without one. It was supposed to be "rustic" looking. Oh how I wished I had this then. I think it is great.
It is really a "duh" product. Why Rollograph didn't put one out sooner is beyond me but I am glad they are now out there on the market. Everytime I see it I envision the inventer being some stamper's partner watching the stamper stuggle to line everything up.
Okay - I have the wheel guide - I just must not know how to use it correctly. (To be far - I have a hard time drawing a straight line with a ruler). Any advice?
I absolutely LOVE the wheel guide! It is a great ruler. It works especially well with wheels that need to be wheeled straight in order to look good (like the square pegs wheel). I have a few friends who struggle with getting wheels straight and they tried my wheel guide and love it too! I like how you can snap the 2 pieces together in order to make a L shape or a long ruler. I'm actually thinking of getting a second one so I have a good yardstick. There are measurements all along it and they go both ways so you can measure in 2 inches (that is the width). It is definately worth the $10!
