I'm planning an Open House on March 1. I'm inviting EVERYBODY I know, no longer trying to guess who'd like stamping and who wouldn't. (After all, I never thought I'd like it, until I saw them holding a little stamping class in the back of my favorite gift shop.) I have been making numerous copies of a pretty card for my invitations. In the invitations I'm asking people to come out of support for my new venture, whether or not they like stamping. At the party, I intend to do a one-time shameless pitch for my friends to hold a party to see if their friends like card-making. If no one takes up that offer, I'm no worse off than when I originally got the idea for this, to use the discount until I get my watercolor wonder crayons. (Some wise woman here on SCS pointed out that if my friends say "No" to stamping, they're rejecting stamping, they're not rejecting me.)
