My two daughters(age 18 months and 29 months) are the only grandkids, so i'm making a card and a mini scrapbook with leaves, copper emboss, and using the earth elements colors to give him a little brag book he can carry with him. doesn't look girlly on the out side and he has plenty of pics of his adorable granddaughters on hand!!!!

hope this helps!

I think the coasters are a wonderful idea. There are so many designs, including the photos. I made some of these for Christmas presents for the men, and they really went wild over them.

how about a travel coffee mug, the kind that you can remove the paper liner and make your own. use pictures and stamps. If you have more than one to make photocopy the design and you can make 1 or 100.

I have made "fishing" themed stationary for my father, as well as a fishing "journal" for him to record his great catches!

I've also made him a stamped sweatshirt with fish on them, back when SU! had the wonderful "Gone Fishing" set. It is since retired, but I gave it to my Mom so we'd still have it around when we need it!

He wore that sweatshirt out to the point we could not salvage it!

I computer generated "Lord of the Flies" and reversed the text and printed out on iron-on transfer paper for inkjet printers. Then, stamped the fish and the flies to look like one was jumping to bite the fly, and hand drew the fishing line with that dimensional slick paint.

I also believe it would be great to create a gift album for him that features photos of his great catches with for his hand-written anecdotes jotted beneath?

HTH,
