Smile looking to buy new paper cutter......

I want to buy a new paper cutter and have been looking at the fiskar's rotary paper trimmers. I think I found 3 different ones. Don't have money for anything like genesis. If anyone uses a fiskars rotary cutter, I would appreciate any advice as to how it cuts and which one u have. Thank you.

I have the regular fiskars cutter (from SU), and last year I decided to upgrade and get the Fiskars rotary cutter... I have to say - I NEVER use it. It is really cumbersome, and you have to put too much effort into each cut. I wish I hadn't bought it (and saved the money for more stamps!). I would stick with the regular Fiskars cutter - it'll save money, and it is easier to use.

Do a search for comments about Carl Cutters. I love my new DC -210 for heavy duty cutting and my SU cutter for everyday.

I bought a Fiskars rotary (40%ACM coupon) because I wanted a portable and a table trimmer. I chucked the table one so fast! lol I actually got a Fiskars portable and LOVE IT! I use the scoring blade almost everytime I touch it. I got it with a 50% ACM just to try it I figured I could sell that too if I didn't like it but it is staying right here! My next will be a Carl but right now I just couldn't afford it. (of course I could afford it if I stopped buying 10,000 cheapo ones! lol) I still need to save for a carl so I can have my portable. I go to scrapbook crops every other Friday so I need one to keep in my tote.

I just got the one from SU and I love it! It's small enough to where I can take it anywhere and I was suprised with how well it cut. It has measuring tools right on it so that's an added bonus. It's not very expensive either.

I have heard great things about the Carl Cutters and am planning on buying one but they are a little more expensive and a little more cumbersome I believe.

Default paper cutters

I have one of the Carl Cutters and I have not been happy with it. I am about to purchase one of the Dahle Premium cutters.

I have not had any luck with getting a straight cut from my Carl. One side is always a little off (could be user error...don't know), but I have tried everything I can think of to get it straight.

Just my experience.
