Default Kids stamp pads...SMALL!

So I splurged on three of the kids pads on my last order for my 5 1/2 year old and 3yr old. The pads are so small! I couldn't believe it. They look larger in the catalog. I'm now wondering if I should return them and just look for some other child friendly pads, if there are any out there. Suggestions anyone?

I know what you mean, they are small & they stamp VERY light. And....there isn't even an orange! I like them for easy clean-up when little ones are using them, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy them. *sigh*

I bought the washable ink stamp pad at Michael's for about the same, if not less, than a regular pad at Michael's would be. It was nice, because my 3 yr old doesn't really realize that it comes in other colors, so we only have to get just the one out, not a ton of different colors and worry about getting them dirty with other colors...yada, yada. It cleans up nicely, ask my craft room doors, and comes off of skin and face! I would highly recommend them!!!

I get the kid pads at Hobby Lobby for my kids. They are a nice size and when stamping supplies are 1/2 off I can can get them for $1.00 each. Though I have never seen orange.

I have seen these and I don't particularly like them. Not only are they small, but they have a foam base. This is BAD if you have young children. We had a pad just crumble under the tender hands of my 3 year old.

I really like the Ranger kid pads. They clean up well with soap and water. The colors are vibrant and there are several colors. And they are fabric covered felt, so they hold up better to the rough use that kids dish out. Seems like the price is pretty comparable too.

I really like the SU kids pads. My children ranging from ages 3-7 have used them for about 1 1/2 years. I have them all. No complaints from them or me.

The stamp pad that I bought is by Delta Rubber Stampede, called Washables Ink Pad. It's felt, and my son frequently forgets to cover it up and it's been left over night open and it's still juicy.
