I bought some great little journals at Michaels for 50 cents a piece! Now my problem is that I can cover the front and back and inside but since they are spiral there is a strip where the sprial is of the origional color and i cant cover the spiral. I would like to make a few of these for a craft show and for friends but i cant figure it out!!! help!!!

WEll....I got a couple of those and you can gently pry the spirals apart and pull the covers and the pages out. Once you cover it, just punch holes where the holes on the covers are....and slip the covers and all the pages back on and -carefully- close the spirals. Then embellish.
The spirals bent pretty easily for me...and shaped back perfectly! I hope that helps you some!
