Default ISO:Christmas gift ideas for tween age girls

DD made the middle school cheer team this year and they will be cheering through Feb. Since they will still be cheering come Christmas time she wanted to do some little something for everybody for Christmas. So I need ideas for something inexpensive yet "cool" to make or buy for 11 girls(ages 11-13). We thought about composition books and we also talked about maybe making bath salts. Just wanted to see if anybody here had any great ideas. TIA.

How about personalized clip boards? My friend bought one for her daughter last year and she loved it. Shes 12.

You could decorate some of those picture frames from Michaels using the girls team colors. Maybe you could get a picture of the girls together and put one in each frame.

A fun idea would be to make one of those lipgloss/chapstick cards. You could decorate it with the school colors. I know that lipsmakers comes in packs of several for a reasonable amount. You can see examples if you search the gallery for lip balm cards. There is also paper purses you can make and put a few little items in it like candy necklaces/lipsticks, gum etc. I think an awesome gift would be a cheerleaders survival kit. You could include: lipgloss, body glitter, nail polish in school colors, scrunchies etc Put it in a cello bag with a topper and voila. You can make it as cheap or expensive as you want. I think the oriental trading catalog would be an excellent source. HTH!

How about Coaster albums in school colors, with plenty of pages for pictures and journaling. Very easy, inexpensive-- you could even have the kids over to do them.

Beaded pens. If those girls are anything like my junior high students, any kind of unusual or froufrou type pens/pencils are very popular. They also seem to like Christmas earrings - maybe made from stamped & coloured shrink plastic or mini ornaments?

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone decorated a wooden treasure box from Michael's using Designer Series Paper and then put in trial size lotion/body wash/scrunchy scrubber. She said she bought the set of lotion at Michael's too. I know my nieces loved that kind of stuff starting at that age. It was a really cute project.
