Red face I'm in a funk...help!

Ok... I have a ton of projects to do and I love doing them BUT I seem to be in a funk.
I can't get in the mood and I'm afraid I may not be doing my best work; therefore I haven't worked on any swaps (don't worry I won't be late for any!!)
I don't know how to get out of it, any suggestions????

I am in the same boat you are. I have lots of new toys and can't get motivated to use them. I am going to make myself play tomorrow while the kids watch morning cartoons. I am going to use my inspiration sheets to get me started. Good luck to you and I'll be watching this thread for help also. Maybe you could case some ideas and in the process you'll be motivated.

I'm not sure how to get over it.
Sorry to you but nice to know I'm not alone! Thanks!!!!

I'm not in a funk, I just always feel guilty about copying someone elses idea instead of creating my own. I spent no less than 3 hours creating a card for a swap this weekend because even though I have a ton of beautiful cards in my "favorites" I think I need to design my own.

Ahh yes, the guilt factor. I used to feel that way but I just adapt it and make it my own. I use the gallery for inspiration and I will change the colors and sometimes the layout. Yes, I will admit I have on few occasions copied but that's why we all post...to help each other!
Think of how flattered that person is when you copy them!
Have fun this weekend!

Hey.......don't feel bad about copying! I am the same way. It takes me HOURS to create my own design and sometimes DAYS!! But when I am inspired by someone I always give them credit for it and that way I don't feel guilty for using "their brain" instead of my own!

Maybe try and re-organize something in your stamp area and see if that does the trick!

Smile How about this?

Been there... in a funk.
Done that... absolutely nothing!
Sometimes it helps me just to grab a different size/shape and try to figure out how to make it work.
Here is your "challenge" for tonight.... Do you have any business size envelopes? Cut a piece of cardstock to fit. About 8 by 8.5 inches. Fold it to 4 by 8.5. Now stare at it for awhile till you can figure out what might fit on that tall narrow cardx. I'll go do one too. Upload your picture and post it here when you're finished.
