I have so many things I want to try, new techniques, etc. I'm thinking about starting an inspiration board and need some ideas to get started. Do you put photos on it or just jot down what you want to do/cards you want to make and put that on it?
I don't have an Inspiration board but I do have an Idea Book. I will make notes, sketches, color combos and such in the pages of a composition notebook. I have filled up 3 so far! LOL They do really help you when you are having a day without mojo!
I'm like Debbie - I have an Idea book that I keep with me all the time to jot down ideas that I come up with. That way, when I'm sitting down at my desk to get crafty, I can look at my idea book and remember all those great things I thought of when I was at work. It's a major help for a scatterbrain like me!
No board for me, but I have a computer, LOL! That's where I get my inspiration - blogs, gallery (here) and cards, color combos, etc. that caught my eye that I've saved in a Word document.
I have something like this - I put my embellishments and stuff on it to see how they look together. I'll attach a photo - this one isn't mine, but it was done by a friend of mine.
You could get some clips to hold up paper samples, photos and pin up notes of what you want to do - then take them back down if you change your mind, complete your project or modify as needed.
I have something like Mitzi. It's a fabric bulletin board by Making Memories and I used tacks to hold up NEW stickers, ribbons, embellishments and anything pretty and inspiring. If it's a holiday (like Valentine's Day) I will make it themed, but right now it just has a bunch of stuff that I want to use and be inspired by.

Mine is a cork bulletin board. I tear out ads, color combos, pieces of jewelry and almost anything that inspires me an I stick it on my. Certain areas are about 1/4 thick as I jsut keep placing them up there.
I have a journal. I write techniques, color combos I like, poetry and anything that inspires me. I look through it at times. Especially when the Mojo is Mogone!
i also save to my computer....in yahoo i made several folders....such as video tutorials, plain tutorials, card ideas......so i copy the card and send it to myself and then put in the appropriate folder for future reference.
i love the idea of putting embellies/colors together on a cork board though......thanks for that one
no mojo....just coming here to see what pretties are new usually fixes that !
I'm really loving the journal idea. The board I have is small (12x12) and I'll still use that. My dd got it for me for Christmas specifically for my craft room. It's a beautiful wood framed cork board. It won't hold a lot though so I think I'll start a journal also. Love the idea of putting the embellishments on it together to see how they go together.
I save a lot of stuff in folders on my computer but sometimes I would like to have those ideas somewhere other than my computer, kwim?
I need an idea book. I keep having tons of ideas but then when I sit down to make them....nothing! I like the inspiration board too. I do try to save ideas I see online.
