The highest I sold a card for was $25.00 but that was my Parchment Art which can be seen in my gallery or on my website www.angelfire.com/nv2/carbonescorner
My best friend made the dog card (on Ebay that you provided the link for) and each of her cards are absolutely beautiful. A TON of work goes into each card and are well worth the amount they sometimes go for.
Wow.. your friend makes some beautiful card.. I have often thought of bidding to one of these works of art to see one in person.. I bet they are breathtaking. thanks for posting link. Pam

I made 150 Christmas Cards for a Real Estate Agent here locally a few years ago. I got $300 for them. Not enough by the way, it took me ages to do them and was so painfully boring I swore I'd not do that sort of bulk ever again.
Hmm. that's only $2 a card.
I got two Hanna Stamps cards published and she pays $100, but that's really for the publishing part, not the card...
I sold a set of 10 cards one time for about $30 in an auction.
wow I'm cheap.
now I"m all sad.

I was commissioned to make a card to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a pastor's ordination. I did put alot of work into it as it was the first time I'd tried that score pal diamond pattern embossing on it, and it also had an ornate gold cross charm on it which was an expensive embellishment. I think I had told her $12 but she paid me $20.
I charged $200 to make 150 wedding invitations for a friend at work. I should have charged twice that much. They were tri-fold, with multiple layers, ribbon. I don't mind doing this kind of assembly line project, but have to get bold and give a higher estimate up front. I'm such a softie. I gave her a $55 discount as a wedding gift.
