I created a card yesterday and I just don't think it is right. What does it need? I have only had one reply in the gallery so I am thinking it truely needs something. I am having a stamp camp with some new people who I really want to WOW. I thought about this card for days thinking it would be so great and now I just don't know. Thanks for helping.

Reason: forgot to add something.
Believe it or not, I'd actually consider cutting back rather than adding something. The colors are bright and cheery, and I really like the mix of textures, but overall it seems just a bit busy. Then again, I like things simple so that may not help you, LOL! ;)

I agree with Rachel that it seems a tad bit busy....maybe cut down on the number of flowers and seperate the green and blue paper with some light colored ribbon (white or cream).
I'd keep the three flowers on the far left but move the smaller two of those to the right side of the flower and put a know in the light colored ribbon on the right side of the flower.
BTW, Love the color choice and the glitter is cute!
WOW thanks for the advise. It really has been bugging me. My SIL thinks I need to drop cuttlebug on the top. Just make it plain and add the sentiment up there. I was thinking ribbon too but I just thought that might be too much. I will give all your ideas a whirl and post my results. Thanks again.
Its a pretty card and I like the colors. You might want to consider that for designs to work think in odd numbers. Instead of 6 flowers try 5. Another thought is think about what is the focus of the card? Where do you want the eyes to travel. If the sentiment is the focus then lead the viewer to the sentiment by arranging the flowers so they flow to the sentiment. Just food for thought...
I love it! I would have suggested to punch out the oval for the window and put the sentiment on the inside layer...I love busy and lots of color!! It looks so cheery to me!

I think it is very cheerful and fun and love the glitter in the embossed part - so don't discard the original but try some of the above ideas and have a whole set of them. If I had seen it in the gallery I might well have commented on it. With dial up and 90 or more pages uploaded a day, my comments are very select. Maybe other are the same way. It is a bright fun card so be happy with it.

i like this suggesstion. but never let the number of comments influence how much you like your own card!
