HELP

I HAVE A STAMP CAMP SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW AND NEED A QUICK IDEA FOR A NON-CARD PROJECT. I am having a tea stamp camp, and working on mother day projects. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yes it will be an all nighter getting ready, but I do pretty good under pressure.

Thank you all for your help in advance. Please post your ideas or e-mail me at [email protected]
Thank you

I got a really cool gift once from a friend where she had made one of those 'pull-up' cards. She had used a tea bag instead of a seed packet. Was really cute!

Hi there,

How about doing a votive holder? pretty simple to make and very pretty.
Or you could get a small spiral notebook and layer cs/stamping on it. My demo did both of these for 2 different stamp camps and they were great. You could also make a basket.. wouldn't need a lot of 'extra' for that either.

have fun!

Coasters? That's what really got me into stamping!
Picture Frames? Take a cheap, plain frame and stamp it!
Calenders? Whether the monthly kind or the birthday kind, one can't go wrong...........
Magnets? Use the little 2x2 tiles to do that!
Light Switch covers? I am dying to try this one!!
Small mirrors? Staz-on is definitely a friend here!!
Beaded pens? Only requires labels, microbeads, and super sticky adhesive...

That's all I can think of right now, tooooo tired!!

Too bad the gallery isn't up - you could look at some of the very cool things there!

Good luck on your camp!!!

Amy

Went to look in my "Anything but a card" idea book, hope these ideas might help:

2-4-6-8 box (someone else mentioned)
Covered notebooks
post-it notecover
tile coasters
gift bags
Accordion albums
Matchbook mini album
Envelope mini album (connect envelopes by the flaps)
OSW for scrapbook page
note cubes

Hope these ideas have helped -- I would consider gift bag/favor type thing for the season as lots of people do parties for birthdays, showers, etc. so an idea like that is always good -- other idea would be going scrapbook route. People seem to LOVE using the white lunch bags since it is something they could do themselves to save money and do up a gift bag at the last minute. Well my people loved it anyway!

Good luck! Best of all have fun! Best thing I learned from being a demo is don't do an all-nighter if it is going to sap your energy/enthusiasm the next day for the party/stamp camp so if you can pick the easiest/less prep time you will be able to put the enthusiasm into the camp!

We did a great project at a workshop once (at my demo/before I became a demo) where you took a small lucite/easel type picture frame (3x5), stamped a 3x5 card to put in the frame part, and on the front attached a post-it pad. They were very cute. At that same workshop, she also did a refrigerator magnet made out of a small lucite frame with a magnet on the back, and stamped a cute/inspirational saying on the card for the frame. I believe she said that she got both types of frames at either the $1 store or on sale at Michaels/Hobby Lobby/somewhere like that.

I hope this link works, but it is a pouch using espress yourself. Always a great project and I use hot cocoa packets inside.
