Hey everyone...just curious what everyone's crafting plans are for the weekend?! Anyone scrapbooking? How about going to a card making class? And yes, just looking at ideas on Pinterest counts, too!
I'm working on scrapbook pages from the holiday season last year. I'd like to get a layout done from our celebration with our neighbor. We have an older lady that lives next door. We found out that she had nowhere to go for Christmas, so we have her join us each year. She's very special to my son, so ever since, her visit gets it's own layout in his yearly book. That's on my agenda....
I'm going to make birthday cards for one-year-old girls. I've been making cards for one-year-olds in general, for my friend's daughter, who works at a daycare, and gives each kid a card when they turn one. But most of the cards I've made have surprisingly turned out to be boy cards. Who knew? So now I'm going to even out the genders and make some girl birthday cards.
At Halloween I made a small gift for everyone at work - that's 120. Did the same at Christmas. So this week end I will do or at least start the Valentine's Day gifts.
I sign them Honey Ho Ho so no one knows who did it.
My Mom's birthday is this week and I need make her card so I can get her gift (stuff from her SU "wish list," of course!) in the mail on Monday. Other than that, I would just like to get some thank yoiu and sympathy cards made to have on hand - I never seem to have any when I need them.
Well, since we are getting more snow tonight into Saturday and then again on Sunday I am staying put! Hope to get some Valentine cards done so maybe, just maybe I can get then mailed out in time. Fingers crossed!
And I am also going to play with my Sale A Bration items I got to preorder, one of the many great perks of being a SU! Demo.

I still need to make a Valentine's Day card for my husband so maybe I'll get to do that this weekend. I'm also working on mini canvases for my etsy shop.

i hope to clean up my area to start doing some Valentine cards since I the snow is heading our way. I still have alot of my Christmas supplies out in hopes of doing a couple a month.
I need to work on a card for a friend who just had reconstructive surgery after breast cancer a few years ago. Also a few thank yous for some people who have been very kind lately to me. Mr. Brown just paid me a visit so I can use a few new SU items to make these cards. Yay!
I hope to get some pages done. I've been making so many cards, I have done very little scrapping lately. I just have "family" scrapbooks for the most part, but want to do each child a "school album", with class/individual pictures and award certificates. I also have thought dong a special album of their growing up years, to take with them. I realized the oldest is a junior, so at the rate I tend to go I best get busy!

Well, I did not start my gifts today. Went into my craft room and cleaned off my work station and then the cutting area. I keep a box under my cutting area for scrap pieces and it was over flowing so I decided to straighten that up. 2 1/2 hrs later I got to the bottom.
Think I need a smaller box. Also need to find containers to hold the different sizes of scrap.
Wishing now that I had just piled things a little higher and left the cleaning to another day.
I went to stamp camp this morning and made 10 cards, watched the videos for the online Stenciled class, and have been working on Easter cards for From Our Hearts for the troops to send home to their families. Today's Easter card projects are in Spanish since we have lots of bilingual members serving our country. There is always the possibility of organizing (and purging to give to my neighbor, a teacher, to take to school) my ever growing stamping supplies.
I am working om 1000 for our church bookstore sale which is the first Sunday in May. I do this twice a year. Also drooling over the new Brother scan & print machine. It would be awesome to get it for my birthday in Fe ruary.
Blessings.

WOW--you are going to be so very busy. I know you always share your talents so generously with other groups. Enjoy your creative time!!
I'm an SU demo and had Stamp Camps Thurs and Friday nights. So yesterday morning I got all my stuff moved back upstairs! Whew!! And I've been meaning to try our Dina K's technique "Layered Gesso" that was the Wed tutorial a couple weeks ago. So yesterday I got out my gesso and acrylic paints for the VERY FIRST TIME! I also got out some retired stamp sets (I don't get rid of any of them) and started what will end up being 4 card fronts with this technique. Today I just have to put on the Inka Gold and the embossing paste (through a stencil).
I'm also taking the "Stenciled" class - I love ALL the Online Card Classes - they are SO worth the money!!
And I want to work on some cards with my goodies from the new Occasions Mini and SAB now that Stamp Camp is over! :-) Has everyone seen this link to Brenda Quintana's free tutorial for an ADORABLE purse holding Hershey's Nuggets, make with SU's new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch??
