Default Grounding Decor Elements

Can someone help me out??? My friend just put up the safari animals decor elements in her nursery. She just sent me the pics but the animals seem to be floating on the walls. Is there a way to "ground" them? I thought of maybe sponging some grass under each one. Any other ideas???

Thanks,

Kristi

If yu use a regualr sponge it probably won't look like grass. Maybe she can find an outdoor carpet..the green ones that "kind of" look like grass. She can cut it in irregular patterns to look like grass and use paint on it and apply it to the wall.

Just a suggestion..hope it helps.

If she has a Cricut, she can use it to cut out her own decorative vinyl. Paper Doll Dress up has a grass border that can be cut to fit each animal. The Cricut vinyl has a lime green, and a more true green, I think. HTH!

If she just wants to sponge, probably something in the brown family would be eaiser - to represent dirt. Without any special tools, grass would be tough to make look like grass. IMHO.

If she wants to maintain the decor elements, she can buy the decor elements blank sheets from SU. There are no green sheets, onlykraft, white, chocolate and dark gray. She can use these sheets in her die cutter to cut out grass...I have a long sizzlit die that cuts out a grass pattern with lady bugs in it. The grass might not look so bad in kraft.

Oooh, for "safari" animals that would be great since most of the grasses where they live aren't green!
