Default glass frame experiment

trying a new idea out. one of those frames that are clear but have words, like family etc. I love them in the various catalogs but couldn't figure out how to make one...needs some technical refining but here is what i came up with.

testing out my theory. this was just a quick run thru. i got this frame at wally world, took the backing off, and cut a piece of acetate to fit. I put the rub on on the acetate and ran a thin line of glue around the edges (sticky tape), then laid the glass over top. I put glue dots on the inside of the frame to hold the glass in. I need to work out some technical stuff, but I think this will work. It was hard to photograph.
hth!

that's really neat!

I got a cheap 2nd hand frame at Value Village a few weeks ago for only $1.99. You can do some neat experimentation that way, that's for sure

I have a frame/Dcor Elements combo in my gallery if you want to check it out. I like the idea of sometimes not having the paper backing and just letting it show through to the wall behind.

TFS!
