I'm so tickled to be mentioned on the favorites for the week! What a day brightener! Especially since this was the first thing I saw once power returned after Hurricane Irene! Thanks so much to everyone who felt my work was worth commenting on!

Thankyou so much to Christine for mentioning my card as one of her favourites this week.I am quite new here, still finding my way around and how to do stuff. There is so much talent on this site I am quite overwhelmed by it all.I hope to add to my fav's very soon and make someone else's day also:O) ....Just to add I think all of Andrea's cards are just so amazing, what a talent!!!

ps. Hope everyone is safe from Irene, here in the UK it's feeling very much as if Autumn has arrived early.....and what happened to our summer!!!
Judi what a surprise to see my card listed as your favorite today...much needed good news in the wake of Irene (no power at home, significant disasters at work and more flooding expected). Thank you so much for the nod and to MaryT for letting me know.
Here are a few of my faves that I didn't see yet listed:
Sleepy in Seattle's Autumn Phesant
Cook22's Shakin' Snoopy
sillyfilly's A Woman after my Own Heart
Thanks so much fellow crafters...you give me so much inspiration. Stay safe and have a peaceful week.
Lisa Lara, thank you so much for adding my "Happy Anniversary" trash card to your favorites and
Melody Ga,l thank you also for making my "with Gratitude" card one of your favorites for the week!
Your are two very kind ladies and have made my, after the hurricane, day!
Thank you, TrishG for mentioning my card this week!! I am so honored! I wish I could have had to time to check out the Gallery this week, to pass the love on :(
sillyfilly- a huge Thank You to you for choosing to favorite the Proud Peacock card that I made for Barbara last week! It is my hope that Barbara likes it as much as you did!! Thank you and have yourself a wonderful day!
Andrea, I'm so glad you liked my Christmas card and gave it a mention. Brightens my Monday...yes, I'm a little late to this party.

OMGoodness, thank you sooo much Angela (Arizona Maine) for favoriting my Thinking of You card. You totally made my day! After dealing with Hurricane Irene, this was such a nice surprise
Thank you, shellied! Your sweet comments and notification arrived in my e-mail box just today even though it was sent on the 28th! We were dealing with Hurricane Irene on Sunday so it must have gotten delayed because of the storm.
I have a few of my own favorites that I didn't get a chance to list so here they are:
I couldn't stop looking at this elegant monochromatic card with Gratitude by Arizona Maine - I just love the delicate detail of this card.
This scene Snowy Birdhouse by Cook22 is just so darn cute it makes me smile and I loved her positive and negative background, too.
This beautiful Christmas card, Magi by hobbydujour showed you don't have to have a stamp of everything. Sally created the town of Bethlehem with freehand cutting!
And lastly - Goodnight, Irene! So glad to see you go
I hope everyone is saving lots of gorgeous Favorites for next week's thread. Linda (Holstein) will be starting it.
Over the past couple of days, it has been especially good to hear from those who were impacted by Irene as they are getting their power back. Check in with us whenever you can, and stay safe from the flooding.
