The Fan Club is definately worth it (unless you don't enjoy looking at fabulous artwork...then the Fan Club is definately not for you)!

When you become a member of the Fan Club, you have access to all the previous fan club galleries, plus you get instant uploads for your own card creations (which means you can upload on Sunday's with no worries...otherwise you must observe the no upload Sunday rule).

Hope this helps!

It is SO worth it! The Fan Club Gallery is amazing in every respect and I look forward each month to seeing the creations of these talented artists. They truly *wow* me (and I think many others). Let us know what you decide!

It really is worth every cent! The good thing is that there are a lot of styles so there is something to suit everyone and you get access to all the previous month's artwork too.
I just love spending an hour or two poring over every single thumbnail, the attention to detail that these ladies show is jaw-dropping!

Is it worth it????
If I was down to my last 25.00 bucks and I had to either buy food or the fanclub...well, let's just say I'd be looking a whole lot better right now!

I've been a fan club member for about a year now and will definitely be renewing my membership. I don't have a gallery YET so the uploading thing isn't important to me YET but the examples have been a huge benefit to me. I have used ideas from almost every month that I've been a member for some sort of present for someone in my family and they were things that I never wouldn't have come up with on my own, things that were not on the 'regular' site. And they were huge hits with the people I gave them too. I bought two stamping/paper craft type magazines at WalMart the other day, spent about $12 total on them, and get nothing out of them. A cute card or two but nothing that I would copy and do. And sometimes on the fan club site they will take something that I've seen in a magazine but they make it so I want to do it. The magazine example did nothing for me but their example wowed me. I really don't think you will be disappointed in it at all. And look at it this way. You get 12 'issues' of ideas for the $25. And from what I have seen, its not just cards, there are projects in there too. And instructions on how to do it. And it helps this site out and just think about what you get from this site. So a big yes from me on joining! Mary

I am not yet a member but do plan on joining. I want to just basically to give the $25 towards the site. To help keep it up and going.

Yes, I think it is worth it. I figure I check the entire site at least once a day. Any magazine I buy I do not look at that much. I want to financially support something that I value. This is my second year as a member.

YES---so worth it, between the awesome DD gallery and the instant uploads and the amazing work that everyone does to keep this amazing site up and running like a well oiled machine, it is worth $25 and so much more. I pay it and pay it happily with out a second thought. I LOVE SCS!!!!!!

Default YES! YES! YES!!!!!!!!!!

I think the DD Gallery is worth every dollar!!! But, personally, if I NEVER view that gallery the $$ spent would still be worthwhile. Someone on here recently told how many card/project uploads and I want to say it was like a half a million!! Can you imagine that!?

I truly believe that the FREE portion of this website is worth the money. For right around $2 a month I can spend HOURS viewing all the cards I want! Gosh, what if they wanted to charge me by the hour or by the view! I'd be broke! So I am totally amazed that this website exists for free as it does. And I am more than willing to give them that small donation. And the extra gallery is just a little bonus thrown in there!!

I encourage you to pay the fee.

SCS has paid advertisements and that is great. But it is a real community as well. I have made so many friends here and learned an awful lot. So, I pay to help defray the costs of the site. The great Fan Club gallery is a side benefit, albeit a marvelous one.

This website is absolutely amazing! I have never regretted being a member! I used to buy stamping magazines, but gave those all up beacause there are so many great samples here EVERY DAY.

I do enjoy the perk of being able to see the Dirty Dozen Gallery and instant uploads, but even if I didn't get those things, I'd still donate to keep this awesome site afloat.

There is nothing else like this on the net and you won't find nicer people anywhere! The way they work so hard to keep us up on the latest trends, supplies and techniques is evidence of their dedication to keep this site fresh and dynamic!

You should totally join!

Oh it's MORE than worth it - just figure out how much you spend on stamping/papercrafting mags in a year - then to only have to pay $25 and get TONS of inspiration every month?????? It's the best $25 you could spend IMNSHO!!!!!! ;)

Ok here is my two cents....Some may not like what I say...BUT that has never stopped me before!

ARE YOU NUTS! IS IT WORTH IT? HECK NO ITS NOT WORTH $25.00!

IT IS PRICELESS!

YOU REALLY CANNOT PLACE A PRICE TAG ON IT!

I am sorry but just being able to visit this site on a daily, hourly, miniuite and every second is worth so much more than $25.00....PLEEEEASE!

OK I am finished ranting! I just cannot beleive that people actually ask this question to begin with! This site is awesome...and they have to ask if its worth $25.00...give me a break!

Sorry but I just get annoyed!

Definitely! I feel that the $25 is so minimal for what I get from this entire site. But viewing the DD gallery is truly inspirational. While I see spectacular work from others on a daily basis, I know that the 15th of every month will be a day when I see loads of awesome things to drool over.

It took me a while to join as I just never seemed to have the $$$ but when you look at how much you get from SCS in the way of ideas, gallery pics, tutorials, feedback, support, it's pretty amazing and this is a way to say thank you to SCS. You could buy a handful of magazines for that price but the designs in the magazines don't change every day and you won't find 1% as much information in the magazines as you'll find here.

Just my $24.99...

DEFINITLEY!!
If you ever got inspired by the gallery, ever had a quesion answered, learned a new technique, or just had a laugh- then you should support this site IMO. I have been a member since I found it. It helps keep the site up and running, and is worth WAY more than any book you could buy! I'd purchase a membership over a stamp set anyday!

Default Is the fan club worth it?

I was wondering how many people are members of the fan club and do they find their membership worth it? My mom said I could have a subscription to one of the paper magazines but I was thinking would I get more out of the fan club. I've noticed a few ideas that people have posted but you can only get the instructions and templates if you are a member.

Please let me know your thoughts...

Thanks

Angela

Oh my goodness is it ever! Not only are you helping to support this awesome site (it can't be cheap to keep this much bandwidth up and running!), but you get the amazing creations posted monthly in the Dirty Dozen Design gallery, plus AUTOMATIC UPLOAD APPROVAL! How cool is that? As long as we promise to be careful to put our photos in the right place, Fan Club members can even upload on Sundays since the mods don't have to approve our stuff!
