Default Embossing powder trays & sticking

I have an tray and it has a tendency to stick when emptying it. I have tried an dryer sheet, an good degreaser dish soap & baby powder in a sock (that just created a cute fluffy design!!!). Any ideas? I will share this with many of my friends who said they have the same problem.
Thanks

two words: Embossing Buddy.

You can use it on your embossing tray to help w/ the cling.

I've just been using the brush that comes with the powder pal to brush the EP off the tray. Then I rinse it under water. Sometimes I use a little dishwashing soap. When I first started embossing, I accidentally got some of my silver EP into my black EP bottle. BIG mistake. Now I'm super careful not to leave any EP on the tray.

I'll have to try the tip about the embossing buddy on the tray.

I always had that problem too. I put all of my embossing powders in sandwich size containers and just scoop the powder out of the container and dump the excess powder back in. No need for the tray. Takes a little more storage space that the little containers that the embossing powder comes in but so much easier than trying to get the powder back in that little container and a lot less mess.

I use a coffee filter to catch the powder. I'll fold the filter to make a point and then pour the powder back into the bottle.

Me too I learned this trick and have never used my tidy tray since! Especially since they are so cheap, I just use it once and throw it away - no way to mix colors up that way!
