It seems to me that when I first started scrapbooking, that the zig pen people put out cardstock brochures and one was on doodling. I am at work but if no one finds it, I will check at home to see if I still have it.
I purchased a really good book that just came out called, "Doodling For Papercrafters" by Maelynn Cheung. I ordered it from Amazon and got it in just a couple days. It retails for $19.95 but Amazon sells it for $15 or $16.
No big deal. I know some times links don't work like we invision they should.
Well, it was definitely operator error. I received a news letter from Leisure Arts and they had an article on doodling -- so I thought of you. I meant to include that link in my original message... so, here it is.
I was teaching a class using the "modern grid" technique, with which we do a little doodling. One of the class participants reached into her kit and pulled out some wonderful doodliing templates that worked great for the card. Do a search for "Scribbles Doodling Templates." You will find three and I have every one. I'm not a "natural" doodler, as some people seem to be.
Doodling is a learned skill just like anything else. Have paper and pens at hand then when you have a bit of time play ... waiting for someone, on the phone etc. One of my friends told me that one of her High School teachers actually encouraged his students to doodle in class!
Hey there,
Tried to get into creativecollage.blog.com And I couldn't. Her blog is the very best for doodling that I have yet to see. Doodling is one of my favorite things to do. Have black pen will create.
How can I get in???
Bonnie
Traci Bautista is a columnist with Somerset Studio, and even though she does mainly collage, her work incorporates a lot of doodling...flowers, women, hearts, dots, swirls, etc. She has a very fun/funky aesthetic - lots of colors, layers. Definitely not like what I would do, but I still enjoy looking at her work

I know that can't be your real name but here goes...
I still can't get into the blog. Looks like I need to establish my blog first. Which I did, well sort of. It's a mess. I wanted to use my cat's picture and it ended up taking up the entire page. I think I need help on that one.
Anyway, if you have another way to get into Traci's blog please let me know.
Thanks,
