Default Distress Oxide Mini Cubes

I’m a big fan of mini cubes, not just less expensive but takes up less space, too. And for the way I stamp, it just makes more sense to own minis and reinkers. About a year and a half ago I started purchasing
Distress Oxide reinkers and Stampin’ Up mini cubes, a.k.a. Ink Spots. I acquired many of the mini cubes for less than retail through use of hostess purchases from being a participant in a monthly SU Stamp club, $5 coupon promotions (one recently ended), etc. After nearly 18 months I’ve has no issues with ink drying out, “separating” or stamping any differently than using the full sized pad. I’ve even traveled with them to humid climates and dry climates for extended periods of time. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Yes, I am aware of what TH says about why no minis. I’m merely saying i have had no problems.

Have you had any problem with SU! Cubes not closing securely?

No problems with the SU cubes but I suspect it’s because I learned the lesson of making sure my lids were on securely when I first purchased the regular Distress cubes a few years back.

Tim has said that for the foreseeable future, the Oxides won't be available in mini pad form, as the chemists cannot make the product stay stable in the small pads.
