Cool Difference between SU Markers & Faber-Castell Big Brush Markers?

Hi there! I've just noticed these Faber-Castell india ink "Big Brush" markers, which are marketed as great for coloring on your clear stamps and then stamping...I'm wondering if anyone knows if these are better for this purpose than the Stampin' Up markers? You can color on the rubber stamps with the brush tip of the SU markers, and it seems to work fairly well on clear stamps as well...just wondering if "india" ink carried some particular advantage over the dye-based ink that is in the SU markers.

Thanks for any info you may have!

I think the main difference would be that the India ink is waterproof when it dries. The Stampin' Up markers are water based and would have some blendability after stamping.

I mostly use my FC brushpens on mixed media items but I have used them to stamp with once or twice. The ink dries extremely fast on porous paper(haven't been able to blend it on that type of cardstock). It is waterproof though. If used over something covered with gel medium it does have a few seconds of open time where you can blend it. I have not tried it on glossy cardstock so don't know how it acts on that surface. Hth.
