I love copper with Navy, browns, and greens. I probably use MORE copper than any other color.

I love copper. If you have the SU Hodgepodge Aged Copper and want a different look, try lightly sanding the pieces with a fine grit sandpaper for a brighter copper finish. I think this looks great with the darker colors like Handsome Hunter, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy or even Brilliant Blue, especially combined with the Brushed Copper card stock or the copper designer papers.

If you really don't like them you could always heat them up and cover with gold or silver EP.

Just dab your copper hardware with a VersaMark pad, dunk it in your favorite color embossing powder and melt the EP. Don't like copper? No problemo- just make it the color you want!!!

See, now copper and silver/pewter easy for me. Gold/brass is much harder.

Why is that?????

i'm not sure why that is julie....i do find that shiny gold is hard for me to find uses for....i'm just not that into it...even in jewelery not a big fan of the gold....try the antiqued gold...it fits much better for me...looks good with browns/earthy stuff....

I find that I really like the look of copper with Pink Passion or Taken with Teal. it really is a nice contrast.
