Color Combo Favs

I am a newbie and need some help. I was wondering if anyone wanted to be in a thread that comments on favorite color combinations for seasonal cards. We could start with the following:

What is your favorite color combination to use when creating Valentine Cards?

I saw some gorgeous ones at Recollections using Black, White, and a pale Cool Caribbean-ish color

I make Valentines cards for my loved ones (parents, sister, MIL, etc) and this year I will be using Pink Passion hearts on a background of Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla. I tried Regal Rose, but it didn't have enough punch to it, and it looked kinda orangish stamped on vanilla cardstock. I am finding that I like pink, brown, and vanilla together, because they remind me of icecream colors.

I will be watching this thread for other color ideas, since I will be making a card for DH, and his card is always different than the ones I make for 'everyone else'.

I like both of your suggestions. Using black and chocolate with other colors are good choices for DH cards as well. Anyone else have favs?
