Little Dillion Craig is having his third birthday... and quite
possibly his last... Dillion was born without a brain, just a brain
stem, but has shocked the medical world with his awareness and
survival.

Mom wants to make his birthday special, they didn't get to celebrate
last year because he was in the hospital seizing uncontrollably... so
this year we are pleading with everyone we know to please take a
moment and send him a card.

This family is not only hurting because of a sick child but they are
financially struggling with three small kids. But that doesn't mean
this cant be a special birthday!

Please take a minute.. a post card, a birthday card... something
special for this very special little boy... I promise you it will
make your day feel better to have reached out and touched him.

Wow, what a story. I just went on the site and it brought tears to my eyes. What a fighter that child is!!!!! He is very lucky to have not only the love and support of his family, but also of all those around who take notice. Thanks to you Fairylander for posting this info. Oh, I bet Dillion will love this card. I don't know him but a I know someone who works with Code Blue and she told me his story. What an amazing family. I made cards last night for him and one each for his sister and brother (it must be hard on them for Dillion to get so much attention) but none are as cute as yours!

Hi. That is AWESOME about sooo many cards going to be heading his way. I talked to his Mom Fri and he had been sick last week, but was doing better, and they are still gearing up for his big celebration. THanks so much for wanting to help give him that sunshine you spoke of. Y'all are AWESOME.

I think Dillion may receive quite a few cards from the stamping groups that I belong to. Is he still stable? Please let me know if something happens prior to his birthday so that his parents don't go through a painful reminder of his birthday that isn't going to happen by receiving so many cards. I’m the one who asked for cards for Dillion. We made a difference in this family's life by sending cards. Thank you all who responded! This is a letter that I received from my Code-blue friend who told me about Dillion:

As of Friday, his 3rd birthday, he had received 4350 cards and 40
packages and even more arrived yesterday. Thanks to EVERYONE who
helped by sending cards, packages and sharing the word of our effort
with all their friends, family, coworkers etc that made this a VERY
SPECAIL birthday for Dillion (Boogie). He also had Tulsa OK TV
coverage and local newspaper coverage. A birthday the whole family
will NEVER forget. Amazing how the 300 cards the Mom wanted to try
to get for him turned into 4350. AWESOME JOB EVERYONE!!!
