My basic black ink is very blotchy. I thought at first it was just because I was using it on Cool Cat and maybe it just pools like that on larger stamps, but then I tried it on a word stamp and the image was still blotchy. Do I need to re-ink or is there something wrong with my ink pad?
I had a lot of trouble with basic black too. When I talked to my demo she said to stop being gentle with the ink pad. Whack the ink pad quickly onto the rubber stamp a few times instead of pressing the stamp into the pad. Bam! Bam! Bam!
It seems to work better that way. Maybe it forces the ink out of the pad better when you hit it harder.
