BigShot: silicone/impressions pads?

What is the difference between the Texturz Impressions Pad and the Texturz SIlicone Rubber Pad. Do you need both for use with the Texturz plates?

You do need both, yes. They form the top and bottom of the "sandwich." I use, from bottom to top, No Tab Multi-Purpose block, Impressions Plate, Texturz Plate (design side up), cardstock, Silicon Rubber Plate. Depending on your machine, you may need a shim as well.

Betsy's right, you need both. I just don't understand why Sizzix sells them seperately. Maybe the silicone rubber has to be replaced after a while?
