I printed some little labels that are about 1/2” tall by about 3/4” long and they say “Made for you by (my name). I keep these with my stamping tools and they are quick and easy to put on a card. Much easier than using my name stamp since I always forget to use it. They show up on any color card stock. Now I just peel and stick. Done.
I had it made several years ago from Impress cards & stamps (in Seattle I think) They had option to create your own design, based on size of stamp, for flat fee. Not sure if they still have this option listed anymore.
I don’t use a stamp at all. I have messed up too many cards by not getting a good impression or smearing ink.
i have Avery Clear address labels printed with the words, “Made by Jane”. I can get 2 per label. I buy a box and Office Max prints them. They made up a sheet with the words Made by Jane so all they have to do is copy. Here is a picture of the label.
Made by and then Jane is centered under it
Welll ..... I don’t know how you add a picture. Help!
Yeah, it's doing the same for me on Android. Wants a URL. Somewhere I was able to upload a pic from my local files, but I can't see it now, sorry. Is there an 'Upload' icon anywhere?
I tried the paperclip, too, but it did not respond. Oh wait. Doesn't it add a line of text somewhere down below the text box, but off the page, that you need to do something with?
I pulled out my ipad and when you click on the paper clip it opens a new window (tab) called manage attachments that allows your to browse your photos by clicking on choose file then pop-up appears that lets you take a photo, browse your photo library or browse other files on your ipad
Well, I went to the Advanced window, chose the paper clip and got a window to upload my picture. I did upload it. Then chose CLOSE THIS WINDOW. But I don’t know where my picture is! FOUNG it when I clicked n the paperclip (I think we need a tutorial on how to add a picture!)
Notice that I didn’t get the sticker on straight! Imagine if I stamped it!

Yippee! You got it loaded! These computers are great and at times frustrating.
That's a nice way of doing the back.
I am not a good stamper either. I get the positioning pretty good with tools but the impressions are all too often faulty. With rubber and spongy clear ones it's hard to know how much pressure to add and rocking a little can ruin it and then there is the smearing it when you pull away etc.. I have turned to using die cut sentiments a lot more. I wonder if I shouldn't be using SCS anymore because it's a stamping site. But I go with the card making aspect of it and no one has said anything about my lack of stamping.

I use diecuts, too! Some places call them “toppers” Sometimes they fit better than a stamp would or I don’t feel like stamping. YOU don’t have to be a stamper to enjoy SCS. I get great ideas from all who post here. Sharing ideas keeps me going —-even when I don’t use stamps on cards.
I love sparkly glasses so several years ago I had a stamp made sporting a small pair of cat's eye sunglasses. I can bejewel them to match the card. Best of all printed above the image is, "The World's Most Expensive Card Company" and my first name. I add the year the card is made.
The world's Most Expensive Card Company was what the husband of a dear friend would add to his homemade paper napkin and paper towel cards he would make for his wife. In the area that would show the price of a H------k card he would price his at several hundred thousand dollars.
I suppose no stamp company has ever copied that text because it is such a poorly guarded secret how much a handmade card truly costs us!

It sounds really interesting and very cute.

I have been lusting after a personalized, custom stamp for years, but the price made me shriek. Now I use a computer print out that I designed myself. It was simple and it's inexpensive. I had a cute doodle that I did with a black felt pen, so I scanned it into my computer. Then I added Word Art in a curve around the top of the doodle ("created with love by") and at the bottom I put my first name. I copied that 20 times to match the size of a page of computer paper. I can open and print the saved file at anytime. I cut my logo into squares, and keep an envelope-full for my latest cards. I use a glue stick to attach to the back of my cards.
For me, if I see someone else's handmade cards, I always like to see what is on the back.
Over the years I've received cards made with some wonderful 'signature' style stamps on the backs of cards. Example: 'beverlygerard' in a lovely yet simple script . Although I've tried, I haven't yet found a company that offers the simplistic script I have burned into my memory. Some day ... ... ;)
I have a custom made stamp, but I need to get a new one made. Also depending on the recipient, I have labels that I place on the back instructing the recipient to recycle the card:
"Congratulations! You have received a send-it-forward card. Please feel free to send on as you wish. But before you do, initial, date and name your state."
This excuses the recipient from saving a card if they are not into that and frees them from guilt if they are apt to throw their cards away.

Like,like,like! Well said!
I'm confused about the last part of the label "Initial, date and name your state"? Does that mean on the back of the card? If the resender signs the inside of the card, the recipient knows who it's from. The resender didn't actually make the card and I thought the back is where the maker is supposed to sign. Just wondering what I am missing.
Also am I correct in assuming you use removable/replaceable/exchangeable liners inside the card?
I use a separate piece of paper/cardstock inside the card. The initials, etc are on the back and the purpose is an interesting way to see where the card has traveled to and from. I stamp my information at the bottom center of the back.

Thanks for the explanation...now I get it. That's clever! As long as the delivery service doesn't damage the card it could make quite journey.
My stamp that I use on the back of my cards just has the name I design under (Pamelita Designs) so there is no way anyone could contact me should they receive one that I had made. Everyone else just writes their initials, date and the state. When I have a new stamp made I am considering adding an email address.
