My smallest party was $225.50 (canadian)...$0.50 over the qualifying volume, and my largetst was over $900.00. On average they usually run around $350.00
I consider anything over $400 a "good" party because the hostess gets the mini catalog hostess set at that level. But I always tell hostesses to set a goal for no less than $500. Usually it will take outside orders to get to that but it's more worth her time and my time to get to that level.
My average party would be $250. I have never gone over $300 or under $225. I think it is a good party when you have a lot of fun and you have a demo that you just enjoy being around. My Demo has a group of us that take turns having parties usually three (4) a month and we all go to each others just to get out of the house for an evening. This keeps our party totals down but spending up over the entire month.
My parties usually close at right about $400 - Unless you are CandyKane (yes, I am her demo and now her new UPLINE!!!) I have had some that just barely hit $150 and my highest was just under $1600 (she is now my downline as well). It varies but I'm going to go with $400.
According to OnStage, one of the publications demos get, last quarter the average workshop was just under $300. Prior to that it had been around $325, I think. But this takes into account all orders placed, which could be one customer ordering $150 worth of merchandise.
The average will also depend on where you live.

It was all her She is just an awesome person, demo, and now my upline. She makes you want to do so much and she is as sweet as can be. Her turn to blush
I apologize in advance if I'm sabotaging this thread but if the average show oi about 300.00-350.00 I really wish SU would lower the 400.00 requirement for the hostess appreciation set. Most of my hostesses don't earn one for being a host.
I hope this isn't take the wrong way- but I think they set the limit a bit higher than the "average" workshop sales so that it is something special for those hostesses that do better than an average show. I know it is not always within the hostess's contol how much people buy (that is why I hope my comment is not taken the wrong way). This is just my perspective on why the requirement for the appreciation set is just a bit higher than the average workshop total.
I agree with Gavynnsmom in that I think they set the amount higher so that the hostess who do "better than average" earn the set. Also, when the new mini catalog comes out you can have a $200 workshop in the beginning of the period and a second $200 workshop near the end of the mini catalog period and still earn the set.
