Default Aqua Painter Cleaning

I've missed the boat on this one; I just received my aqua pens and am about to demo them this weekend. Yet I'm struggling how to clean them so they can use multiple colors. Do I just dip the tip in a water cup till it runs clean?

Please help, thanks stampers

Default cleaning aqua painters

I take the tips after using a color and squeeze a little bit of excess water onto the tip and then run it back and forth on my hand. Because the ink is watered down I don't get ink stains on my hands. I also always tell everyone that they can always wipe the water stuff from their hands on their neighbor - good for at least one laugh.

I also just squeeze out an extra drop or two and rub it on a paper towel until it is clean. the brissles get stained by the ink but there is not bleeding or staining.

i got mine.. used it..and prefer the blender pen.. am i not using it right? i filled with water.. and paint the top of the pad where i have pooled up some ink by pressing down.. and paint.. it seems to tear the paper cause i have to go over it so much just for color to show. am i supposed to fill with water that already has a drop of reinker? would that make my colors a little more vibrant quicker?
i just put it down and picked up my trusty blender pen to finish my cards.
